What is Inline Hockey? Inline Hockey is an exciting game, due to the hight tempo and fast movement of both the players and the puck. It is played by two teams consisting of 4 players and 1 goalie. Players pass the puck to each other and score by passing the puck into the goals. The team with the most goals at the end of playing time wins. Who Plays Inline Hockey? Anyone and everyone can have a go at playing hockey! Both male and female skaters of any age can enjoy this sport. What Do I Need? Our training and development sessions require you to have a pair of rollerblades, a hockey stick and a helmet. However if you continue on to play other games you will also need gloves, pads and a full face helmet. If you don't have any of these items, we have them available to hire. How Much Will it Cost? Training and development sessions are $6.oo. Further costs are incurred as you move onto playing games and joining clubs. When Can I Play Hockey? If you're a beginner, then Thursdays at 5pm is the best place for you to start. After training we have in-house games starting at 6pm. If you already know how to play and just want to join a team the Western Hawkes play Tuesday evenings from 7pm.
