WHAT IS DERBY?

Roller derby is a fun, fast, team sport played on rollerskates. It involves two teams who skate around in the same direction assisting their "Jammer" to skate as many laps as possible whist trying to stop the opposing teams "Jammer" from doing the same.

WHO DOES DERBY?

Women and men of all ages and skating ability can try derby.

Ron is our derby coach. If there is anyone who can teach you the necassary skills it's Ron.

WHAT DO I NEED?

All you need to enjoy this sport is a passion for rollerskating. Skates are an obvious necessity and can be hired for $2.00. Knee pads, elbow pads, wrist gaurds, mouth gaurds and a helmet are required when competing.

WHEN DO THEY TRAIN?

Wednesday 9pm till 10pm for $8.00. Join in our sesion before hand from 7pm-9pm for only $4.00 extra.

Beginner skaters are encourage to first attend our beginner lessons.
